How does Cocospy's work non-jailbroken devices?
Cocospy is a web-based app for target iPhones or iPads. Instead of monitoring the device itself, it monitors the iCloud backup, which usually gets updated every time the device is plugged in and has WiFi access.
Cocospy needs the iCloud credentials of the target device to work. Because it works with the iCloud backup, it's impossible to detect. You can also set up Cocospy 100% remotely.
Before you use Cocospy, please ensure you're in the clear legally: https://www.cocospy.com/legal-info.html
-
How does Cocospy work?
Cocospy connects to the iCloud account linked to the target device. When a backup is uploaded to the iCloud account, Cocospy copies the information and sends it to you. You can access the information from the Cocospy dashbaord.
Note: Cocospy monitors one iOS device at a time. You get updates once every 24 hours.
Note: Cocospy won't have any updates for you if the target device doesn't sync with iCloud for any reason.

When should I select the "BackUp Now" option in "Settings > iCloud > Storage and BackUp?" Do I have to do this every time I want Cocospy to provide me with updated info?
Tap/select it just one time when you first connect the target device to your Cocospy account. You will never have to do it again. Cocospy will provide updates automatically every 24 hours.
-
When do I get updated monitoring data from Cocospy?
The update interval depends on the backup interval set on the target device. Cocospy makes new updates/backups available to you as soon as they're synced to iCloud. If you can physically access the target device, you can use the Settings>iCloud>Backup>Back Up Now option to instantly sync with the Cocospy-linked iCloud account (minimum 1 hour after previous updates).
-
Help! The logs aren't being updated. What do I do?
Please go over the following checklist:
• Check to see if iCloud Backup is enabled on the target device.
• Ensure the target device is connected to Wi-Fi.
• See if the target device is turned on and plugged in.
• Unlock the target device if locked.
• All iCloud backup selections are set to green.
Without all the conditions above being met, Cocospy won't be able to fetch new updates for you.
-
Can I monitor several iCloud backups under a single Cocospy subscription?
That depends on which plan you signed up for. The Cocospy Premium version allows you to monitor one device only. This is the device you set up during the installation.
The Family and Business versions, on the other hand, allow you to monitor more than 2 devices.
-
Help! Cocospy doesn't connect to the target iCloud account?
In case Cocospy is having trouble connecting to the target iCloud account, please recheck the login credentials.
Note: It takes several minutes for Cocospy to sync up with iCloud. Please be patient before determining Cocospy isn't working.
-
What happens if I turn off "iCloud Backup" in "Settings>iCloud"
If you do that, Cocospy can't fetch new updates anymore. However, you'll still be able to access the old data/updates from the Cocospy dashboard.
